Every vintage is a chapter. But some leave a deeper mark than others. 2023 was one of those years. Not an easy one. Not a straightforward one. It was a year that challenged us \u2013 in the vineyard, in the cellar and in the way we think. A year that raised questions and set new standards. And that is precisely why the new DAS PHANTOM campaign was created under the title \u201cThe Challenge\u201d. That is how Markus Kirnbauer defined it for himself. As an expression of a wine that does not seek to please, but embraces contrasts. A wine that brings together power, elegance and resilience.<\/p>\n

How do you tell the story of a wine like this? With images that leave room for interpretation. With a campaign that does not explain, but suggests. The creative agency kratkys.net found the ideal setting: Plankenstein Castle \u2013 a place where history and atmosphere come together. Rugged and mysterious. Majestic and wild. A place that reflects the wine itself. The visual language of the shoot moves between fairy tale, myth and reality. Between what was and what might still become. Because the challenge is not only about the year behind us \u2013 it is also about our ambition to create wines that go beyond the obvious.<\/p>\n

At the centre of this setting is Markus Kirnbauer himself. Not as a staged character, but as part of the story. As a winemaker who takes responsibility \u2013 for the soil, the climate and the future. As someone who does not fear change, but embraces it and even actively drives it forward. DAS PHANTOM 2023 is neither loud nor eager to please. It demands something of you \u2013 attention, engagement and depth. It does not speak in superlatives, but in subtleties. And that is precisely why it stays with you.<\/p>\n

A wine like a quiet glance that sets something in motion. A challenge and an invitation at the same time.<\/p>\n
