Accessibility Statement

We are committed to making our website accessible in accordance with the Austrian Accessibility Requirements Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz – BaFG) and applicable accessibility standards.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.phantom.at.

Status of compliance

This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Extensive measures have been implemented to improve accessibility for all users. However, some accessibility barriers currently remain, as outlined below.

Non-accessible content

The following content and elements are not fully accessible for the reasons described below:

1. Colour contrast of individual elements due to the corporate colour (#B2936D)
   The corporate colour #B2936D is used in several areas of the website, including buttons, text links and graphic elements. In certain combinations, such as white text on a gold background or gold text on a white background, the contrast ratio may fall below the minimum level recommended by WCAG.This design follows our defined corporate identity and intentionally reflects the visual appearance of our brand. Despite the lower contrast ratios in some instances, readability is supported by sufficiently large font sizes, clear spacing and additional visual cues such as icons or underlining. Interactive elements also have clearly visible focus states. We therefore consider the accessibility and usability of the website to remain adequate.
2. Product images and text links
   Product images and product names each link to the same product detail page. As the image itself does not contain visible text, automated accessibility testing tools may flag this as a potential issue. However, all images include alternative text (alt text), and the product names are linked separately. This duplicate linking is intentional and supports usability and accessibility.
3. Identical link texts with different destinations
   The website contains identical link texts, such as “Imprint” or “Privacy Policy”, which may lead to different destinations – for example, our own privacy policy or the privacy policies of payment service providers such as Klarna. These links are correctly marked, and the surrounding context makes the different destinations clear to users.

This statement was prepared on 11 December 2025 and is based on a self-assessment as well as automated testing tools, including Google Lighthouse, WAVE and a WCAG validator.
