At the beginning of October, Deutschkreutz is all about the Blaufränkisch Marathon 2026. Now in its fifth edition, this popular culinary run combines exercise with regional food and wine – all set against the picturesque landscape of sunny Central Burgenland.

Whether you run or walk, at a fast pace or a leisurely one, the focus is on enjoyment, shared experiences and having a good time. Along the route, participants can look forward to up to 13 tasting stations at wineries or right in the vineyards, offering wine tastings and regional specialities. And of course, one of them will be right here with us at Rotweinweg #1.

After crossing the finish line and the awards ceremony, the celebrations continue with the big After Run Party, including live music. And creativity is rewarded too: original costumes are highly encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best ones.
