Two Days That Are About
More Than a Glass of Wine
More than 30 years ago, it all began quite simply.
A door opened.
People came.
And suddenly, wine became a way of bringing people together.

A New Take on an Experience
More than 30 years ago, the Kirnbauer family first opened their doors. What began as a simple get-together has grown into a two-day experience that brings the entire world of K+K to life.
Wine is easier to get than ever before. One click, one parcel, a few days of patience. What you cannot order is quality time. And that is exactly what K+K WeinGutZeit is all about: On May 15 and 16, 2027, from 11 am to 7 pm each day, our winery brings together our Open Cellar Days and the Wine & Sound format for two days that are much more than just an event.
In the end, it is all about what started it all back then: taking your time, having another glass poured, staying a little longer, talking and realising just how good that feels.
“We wanted to bring two things together.
Our roots and the way we live today.”
– Markus Kirnbauer –
What Can You Expect?
The programme ranges from a sparkling start to profound discoveries in the wine shop, leaving nothing to be desired. In the glass, it all begins with bubbles.
Sparkling Bar & Rarities
At the Sparkling Bar, you can enjoy fine bubbles and lighter options. Perfect for everyone who likes to raise a glass while still remembering what they have planned for the next day. Those who want to dive deeper can explore our red wine rarities, with a range of vintages that proves time does not simply pass – it can also be tasted.
Pannonian Cuisine
The culinary experience is Pannonian. And full of surprises. Together with her friend CookingCatrin, Marlene Kirnbauer has created tapas using ingredients from Burgenland. Regional in origin, reinterpreted in a fresh way and prepared on site. You could say: a taste of home made for sharing.
Vineyard Experience Tour
Anyone wondering where wine really begins should not miss the Vineyard Experience Tours. A historic tractor takes you out into the vineyards – to the sites of HOUDINI – Zweigelt. Unchained.! – and on into the oak forest of Girm, where the trees grow that will one day become barrels. You quickly realise: wine does not begin in the glass.

Wine & Walk
For everyone who prefers to enjoy things at a gentler pace from time to time, there is Wine & Walk. Markus and Marlene Kirnbauer have put together their personal favourite routes. With places to sit, lie down, think or simply enjoy the view. Combining movement and wine is not a contradiction. In fact, it is a pretty good concept. “We always combine wine trips with movement. It is about balance. And about consciously experiencing the moment,”
says Marlene Kirnbauer.
K+K Hobby Sommelier Sessions
And for anyone who still feels there is more to discover, there are the K+K Hobby Sommelier Sessions. Several times a day, Markus Kirnbauer takes guests into the cellar or up to the rooftop. It is about DAS PHANTOM. About origin. And about those little details you cannot simply google.
Atmosphere
To make sure it is not only the glasses that sound good, the music has been carefully selected as well. A DJ creates a subtle, relaxed atmosphere. No noise. No pressure. More like the soundtrack to a summer day when, for a moment, you forget what time it is.
The experience package is €30 and includes wine, food and all programme activities. It will be refunded with wine purchases of €200 or more. Tickets are available in advance and on site on the day of the event. Reservation requests are welcome but not required. Simply send an email to [kirnbauer@phantom.at](mailto:kirnbauer@phantom.at) or send us a message via our contact form.
